Gherkins are often confused with pickled cucumber or cucumber but in reality they are different from them. The appearance may although appear same like a cucumber but it is not the same in taste.
Gherkins can be used in a lot of recipes like for making salads, sandwiches, desserts, for making pickles etc. and talking about the taste it is really great. They contain very low amount of saturated fat and cholesterol and high amounts of vitamin A and K, potassium and sodium.
